The blade is made from a 128 layer billet that I hand forged and stretched out to a thin sheet of steel. Then rolled into a tight roll known as a Jellyroll while keeping a high heat level to fully forge weld the Jellyroll together. From that I forged this Jellyroll Damascus knife. The estimated amount of layers is around 2000+ in this Damascus blade. The blade is 5" long with a 5" handle giving it a total 10" overall length. The handle is made from an Elk Antler and Aluminum I had smelted down into an ingot. The handle has a curved shape for the most comfortable grip. The beautiful sheath was hand crafted by our very own professional leather worker Natasha (my wife) from Lockwood Leatherworks!
